I will re-explain it to him again to make it sure that he really gets it. @ghozt33 Z-index property sets the stack order of an element. I really suck on my grammars but I will do my best to explain it to you well. Example: <">You have two div box. it happens that the Blue box overlaps your Red box and you don't want that to happen. Now what you'll gonna do to make your Red Box appears in-front of your blue box, you need to set the z-index property of your Red Box into 1 and your Blue Box into 2. <">The lesser value would always overlaps the greater value. BTW z-index property would only work on absolute position.
