I used to love listening to Mariah Carey sing...there's the keyword...sing. Like back in the day when she did the songs "Hero" and "Breakdown" and "One Sweet Day"...back in that era. I still think she has a very pretty and distinctive voice but now instead of "singing" it's more like she "sings a rap verse", her style now (from the newer songs that I've heard) she sounds like a Ciara. No disrespect to Ciara, but she's not a true singer. And I no longer hear Mariah truly singing. Her songs are still pretty, but I like the original Mariah. That's just my opinion.
