Requirements:

>creativity
1.)first open a file. . .
I choose this:

2.)then make a new layer:

3.)click the gradient tool as shown below:

4.)choose a gradient tool from the gradient tool bar
"I choose the spectrum gradient"

5.)click and drag from the upper left corner of you siggy, to the down-right corner of your siggy.

it'll now look like this

5.)next, go to blending options (just right-click the gradient layer and click blending options)

6.)in the blending options menu, click blend mode and choose either overlay or soft light. . .

then click OK
and voila! a finished product:
