Truthfully....it's beginning to seem that we can't count on our governments to act on this issue. Especially here in USA. The United States is [b]the most[/b] oil-thirsty nation in the world. For us Americans, it's why it's really important for us in the upcoming elections (November) to take a stand and elect someone to the Presidency that will make a real effort to reduce our oil consumption.
Even though the major efforts need to be taken by our governments, each single person can do his/her part to contribute to stopping global warming. Efficiency. Simple little things. If you leave a room, turn out the light, even if you'll only be gone for a minute or two. Little things like that. If every person in the world would do the simple little things like that, we could reduce energy consumption.

Thanks for posting here. I'm glad there's people out there who feel concerned with this issue. It's a [b]rea[/b]l issue.
