OLYMPIC TORCH VIRUS INFO: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_Torch_(virus_hoax) Olympic Torch is a computer virus hoax sent out by e-mail. The hoax e-mails first appeared in February 2006. The "virus" referred to by the e-mail does not actually exist. The hoax e-mail warns recipients of a recent outbreak of "Olympic Torch" viruses, contained in e-mails titled "Invitation", which erase the hard disk of the user's computer when opened. The hoax email further purports the virus to be acknowledged by such reputable sources as CNN, McAfee and Microsoft as one of the most dangerous viruses yet reported. In reality, the "Olympic Torch" virus is non-existent, and generally has not been reported by the organizations quoted. If received, this hoax e-mail can safely be ignored and deleted. A message from my YM!
READ IMMEDIATELY PLEASE!!! Get this sent around to your contacts ASAP...we don't need this spreading around. Do not open any message with an attached file called 'Invitation' regardless of who sent it, It is a virus that opens an Olympic Torch which 'burns' the whole hard disc C of your computer. If you receive a mail called ' invitation' , though sent by a friend, do not open it and shut down your computer immediately. This is the worst virus announced by CNN, it has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repair yetfor this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept
