Long Term: 4 years and 10 months of incessant misery. 
Short Term: 3 weeks? It was an "unthought-of" relationship.
I was pretty naive at that time thinking that you could shoulder all the burden of a relationship and take them on single handedly. I was wrong.
The span of time being together never was a basis for a long-lasting relationship. If it's anything but harm to yourself, better do away with it.
Besides, there could always be a better someone who'll come into your way. The unpredictable is inevitable.
