I was about to make this thread but thanks Yuuna for making one. I agree to what Yuuna said. The opening song and its visualization were cool and superb. It's premise looks very promising so far, and the character designs were surprisingly better than the mango, Index is moe, and Komoe is love. I liked the personality and behavior of the cast. Better than Shakugan no Shana nor Zero no Tsukaima - turned awesome to mediocre and into pile of generic harem and fanservice crap. It also has a funny facial expressions and scenes. Hopefully JCSTAFF will be loyal to the mango and the novels because this show has a potential to become one of my favorites. For episode 1, there goes our male lead, Touma. With Droopy eyes and spiky hair, and he can negate some magic with his right hand. Early battle scene , and even cliffhanger. FFFFFFF. The introduction and the pacing seems just right. I'll stick to this one and it'll be my top priority besides Kannagi. 9/10 for this show / episode.
