its all a matter of cultural perspective... others find each of the different foods nasty but the one's who have lived in that culture find it scrumptious... like for us Filipinos (although I'm not really sure about the others who replied in this topic), Balut has been a part of our culture since the Chinese trade galleon started.... in fact, some say that, to be a certified true PINOY, you must eat balut! and even my half Australian cousin loves balut! and so is me! its true that our appetite is affected by the presentation of food. but still taste is what matters most! i find Balut very delicious...
