Well....they're trying. But, it's not working so far. The government just pass an $800 billion rescue plan last week, yet our stock market continues to crash and burn. Today was actually a good day, noting that our stock market only lost 115 points.
Also...no matter what the government tries to do, it's not something that will be fixed anytime soon. Most economists say that we (global economy) WILL continue to slip into a recession and it will take 2-3 years for us to get back to where we were just 30 days ago. Life, in America especially, is changing and it's not gonna be the same for quite a while.
