The show is in-between mediocre to average. However, GAINAX still managed this generic mango to a decent animu adaptation. Not really an impressive start but it's good nonetheless. The latter part , was the best battle scene obviously. All of the characters seems not interesting except Makina. Here's hoping that the show wouldn't be a monster-of-the-week and lol doroma. Must have a substantial plot as well. OP - Not bad, love the visuals though ED - meh
