I believe that it is only a matter of time before both the U.K. and the U.S.A. evolve into a "police state" where it's citizens are continuously monitored and "spied" on, even in the privacy of their own homes. It's already begun in the U.S.A. after 9/11. The government, now, can basically wiretap any person's phone without sufficient evidence.
