I know that today many girls / women think nothing of taking the first step - approaching the guy they like, asking out, taking the lead in the relationship and even proposing. I have observed though that this often leads to the guy not appreciating the girl. You see, men are conquerors by nature. They need to see a beautiful woman and win her heart. And if they did not win it, if she came up to them and started the relationship, the don't seem to care that much. What do you think?
