does anyone knows? :)

MORE INFO: hub and router are both designed to connect two or more computers. the significant difference of the two is its intelligence. hub is least intelligent than router and switch. why? hub is not capable of knowing where particularly the data will be send to. so how is it possible to transfer data using hub? what the hub actually do is it check each addresses(computer) it founds in the network and verify it if it matches the rightful one. so basically it will be on searching mode before sending the data. you will be experiencing some delay during that time. also hub is not capable of knowing which ports are traffic so you might experience data collision and might lost some of the data during transmission. while the router and switch, they are capable of detecting port traffic and can locate the right address it want to communicate w/o checking other addresses. so you won't experience any delay and data collision. also the router includes network security which both the switch and hub does not have. (you can call it hardware-based firewall if you want)
