Mods:
If this is irrelevant and non-sense, feel free to delete. Thanks.
Off to NSPC! Philippines will now again hold its perennial National Schools Press Conference or the NSPC this coming February 2009 at Naga City, Bicol Region participated by the different winners in the different Regions here in the Philippines. The country is now preparing for this big event to be joined in by almost a thousands of participants from competing for different categories [News writing, Feature Writing, Editorial Writing, Photo Journalism, Editorial Cartooning, Sports Writing, Radio Broadcasting, and Copyreading and Headline Writing] using two mediums [English and Filipino] from Elementary and Secondary Levels. Each Participant has gone from two eliminations [Division Schools Press Conference and Regional Schools Press Conference] where they are being trained, tested, and eliminated to know the best students who will compete for their respective regions in the NSPC. Why I posted this? Just to inform people about National Event such as this in order to be aware of current issues and competitions here in the Philippines. If you're a participant, you may post in this thread and you may share us about your experiences. To recognize great Campus Journalist from Friendstertalk. - I am a campus Journalist, particularly a News Writer-English [Secondary Level] from Pangasinan II and have won in the DSPC as third placer and have qualified for the RSPC. But Unfortunately, I didn't won. [Because my output was dirty :wallbash: I mean full of erasures.] Even so, I've enjoyed this year's RSPC [actually I still have a hang-over about it. :D] because I've met new friends from different schools in Region I and I've got closer to our School Paper Advisers and it's the Experience that counts, anyway. And for those who are lucky and hard-working enough to be qualified as a contestant in the coming NSPC, Well, Bid Fair, Good Luck and Do your Best!
