I think you need to modify the added 20 and 21. To modify, you have modify something inside on of the .js files.
Anyway, can you give the topic where you got the codes?
For the background color. Get the id of the li. Example.. mycarousel-item-1 mycarousel-item-2 mycarousel-item-3 etc...
