is this your first time using router? if does, you need to ask your ISP to configure their dsl modem that will allow you to use your router.
well as far as I know, some ISP's dsl modem configuration are configured to disable the use of other network devices. globelines here in cebu use this kind of system. (not allowing user to use router if using dynamic IP )
