Anyway... Charice Pempengco? Now, that's what I call pop.
Charice Pempengco is fantastic. I am continously getting blown away with her voice. Hmm isnt she more of a Pop Ballad? == Ok i get the whole fact that we shud be proud of them. Yea we should. And actully XLR8, theyre kinda pretty good. Though they really really look like koreans too >_<, The fact that were stating is the completely utter imitation of such things that are getting popular or famous whther its music or tv. How can i b proud of being considered as just an imitator?. We have our own voices, our own styles. Shudnt WE make our OWN thing?, as of now, all i see are Pinoy Bands, most of them are ROCK or Indie.Dont get me wrong, i am 100% a fan of them, i love alot of bands like Bamboo, Pedicab, TBC, Sinosikat, Hale and such. Thats what Filipinos are known for in terms of music. But having to make these kind of wanna-be bands that just debut now because of the continous rising of KPOP here is a little boogus. and calling it P-POP also? Why such the urge to make them now?. Are they trying to beat KPOP of the market? People lke me stand for originality, i wonder if they even thought of that they wud just get compared to KPOP bands, i hope tho that they stand the chance against them and get as popular as them also. But please, have some originality. Now, theyre just known as KPOP imitators. Just that.
