[u]FOUR♥[/u] [size=3][align=right]Awesooome Mishap? ;>[/align][/size] Before I talk further about New Year, I'm going to clear things up more. Hmmm.. Well. One day, pinauwi kaming sabay ni Jem nina Mom and Tita. Well, we thought that time a little get-together cguro. Having naive minds, we didn't have this heck of an idea na ENGAGEMENT naming dalawa yung pag-uusapan. Like, HELLER?! We're like, 15! Pero when they told us, not frank naman. We were all at the Koo's place. Everyone's present. Our parents.. Chester.. Jelly.. and us, two. We're all having merienda, mom's salad and Tita's cheeseburgers plus Pizza hut delivery. :P So di naman nakaka-heart attack or nakaka-choke. Haha. It went somewhat like this: "Jem, Elle honey, you know that our company is experiencing some glitches, right?" Mom said. We both nodded. "So, yung isang supposed-to-be sponsor ng company ng Daddy's niyo, who happens to be.. Reina's Dad.. May offer sa atin." Tita told us. "And both of you are aware of what happened to her, right?" Dad asked. Nod again. Men! We're like two brats busted by grownups then. Hot seat rin oh. "Wait Dad, what happened to her?" tanong ni Ches. Nako, di naman kasi chismoso tong kuya ko. :D "Hmm.. I don't really know the details.." "Mr. Chan said she's having some brain disease or ano man yun. Parang may pumutok na vein sa kanya at tumopak. In short, insane." Tito explained. "Whoa, baliw po ba, Tito?" "Yep.. Nasabi ng Mommy niya na may kinikimkim ata siyang problema na naging cause nung breakdown." "So, ano pong konek samin nito?" I finally asked. Like duh, and so kung naganun siya. May magagawa ba kami? "Yeah Dad, parang naman may ginawa kaming masama oh." "Haha, no sweethearts.. Importante lang kasi ito.." "Oh ano, start na?" Tita asked. "Oo.." Dad said. "Go ahead." Sabi ni Tito. Ay naku.. Suspense pa. Tagal.. "Mr. Chan offered the deal.. na isa-sign niya yung contract in one condition." "Ano naman yun?" Jem asked. Kaya nga.. Hmm.. "If you two will get engaged... And announce it in front of Reina.. Na nagrerecover na.." WHUT?! We were shocked that time. Hello? Sino bang di magugulat. Engage naman?? "Copy that, guys?" "Ye-yes, Dad.." "Opo.. Pero.. Why us?" "Kasi anak, nararamdaman ni Mr. Chan na may konek ka sa problema ni Rei. Para makalimutan ka na lang niya, yun yung sinuggest niya.." "Oh.. Okay.." "Ok ka lang, sweetie?" "Oo.." Sabi ko kay Mom. "So okay lang sainyo?" "Papalipasin din natin ang oras kung sakaling icacancel pa natin.." "Which I think we won't." "Oo nga.. One family na kasi tayo nito?" Whoa. This is freaky.. Freaky to the bones! Eh tuloy tuloy nilang sinasabi yung mga bagay bagay. Continuing one another's conversation. Waaaa. I looked at Jem then.. He looked at me too. Then he smiled. I smiled back. Something tells me we both don't hate it. ;) And now, back to the present. I look at him then suddenly I became aware of his hand grasping mine while we head downstairs. Waaa. Could I live with this? It may be an arranged marriage. Well, not yet but I sure don't want it cancelled. :D I think I could live with it. ;)
