how to check disk manually using cmd??? can somebody tell me??
Press Start and the letter R on the keyboard simultaniously to open Run prompt.
Type CMD on the field and press OK
A DOS prompt will appear where you can type text.
Now type chkdsk C: D: /F and press enter.
If the fix command doesn't proceed. Just restart the computer after pressing Y and enter to the question regarding... continue to fix hard drive on next restart.
