I'm wondering if my HDD is available for being a slave. It says on the label: Master/Single: On Slave: Off That "slave: off" means that it can't be used as a slave?

I think it depends on where you plug the jumper in your motherboard. Usually in the J pins (J20) and you'll have to put the HDD in the slave IDE [i](SATA can't Slave because they must have their own connections to work)[/i]. After doing the said above, you must configure the CMOS settings on Master and Slave.
