CHAPTER ZERO
I was driving my car peacefully heading towards the school of my daughter when she had asked something i never knew she would.
"Dad, is mom your first love?"
My daughter Shiella asked.
"Unfortunately no. But don't worry, you and your mom would be my last and only love."
I answered.
"Do you have some regrets? You know, like you should have married your first love."
Shiella asked again.
"Absolutely none. I am completely happy with the two girls in my life now."
I answered with every honesty i have.
We reached the school in no time. My seven year old daughter kissed me goodbye and set off to her classroom.
I never knew that the simple conversation i have between a seven year old girl would make me bring back all the memories about my first love, Ann.
