I agree with Ephemeral, information is power.
What is the use of making a Friendster account into private if someone else will just set it into public? It's like anybody else will have a permission to change anything in your account when we won't prevent this kind of intrusions.
We are preserving the privacy and the safety of everybody. Since having such information of a particular individual will make you the large chance of destroying of that individual. For example, if a lunatic will know your ip address, he/she can hack into your system and may be ruin or manipulate your system.
FYI, there are also codes to view private photo album. (haha.. Im so talkative)
