Hi everyone, This tutorial is really easy hope you can all follow coz i know sometimes im a bit confusing  ok so i'm using photoshop cs2 so i dont know if anyone who has a different version can follow my instructions, except the professionals. Ok start. First, i searched a glitter to use, and i decided to use this one http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/yea30.gif Then, Open this image in imageready http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut1.JPG You can see that there are 3 layers. Now click on the first frame in the animation pallete and make sure that the other 2 layers are hidden. http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut2.JPG After you clicked on the first frame, click File then click on edit in Photoshop. Now that you are in photoshop, Use the Rectangular Marquee tool to drag and trace the whole glitter image. http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut3.JPG. Now click on Edit on the top menu, then click on Define Pattern http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut4.JPG A box will pop up and it requires you to name your pattern http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut5.JPG I named mine AYA. Then after you have done that, you can now move on to the second frame by revealing the second layer and hiding the first layer that u just did. http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut6.JPG Then just repeat that step for your third layer. Now that you saved all your pattern, it's time to put them in the text. First, open a fresh new layer. Make a text. (the thicker the letters are, the better) http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut7.JPG Right click on the layer and click on Blending Options http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut8.JPG select the first pattern that u saved. ( You will be able to identify which one is the first because they were put in order) Now, i decided to apply a stroke because i just thought it looks funny without strokes :D here's my outcome http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut9.JPG now jump to imageready and open the animation pallete In the animation palette, duplicate the first frame. After u have duplicated the first frame, click on the second frame(the duplicate one) and click on File on the top menu and edit in photoshop again. In photoshop, right click on the layer again then blending options and click on pattern again, then change the first glitter pattern to the second glitter pattern that you saved before. http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/tut11.JPG then click OK then go back to Imageready again. Duplicate the second frame and then click on the third frame and repeat the step you just did(like what you did to the second frame) to the third frame. then Boom! you're all done. http://h1.ripway.com/siggy1/allianaa.gif
The reason i didnt change the patterns in imageready is because if you're on imageready and you right click on a layer then click on blending options and proceed to patterns, you will not find the pattern that you saved in photoshop, so you have to go back and forth from imageready to photoshop then photoshop to imageready.
I hope i helped you guys. :D
