Here are some logical reasons.
You may get that problem if a bundle of users view as page simultaneously and leave a page consecutively.
If a page has too many big images like [url=http://theftalk.com/t29034-C.S.S.-Entry-%5BSummer-Theme%5D-Post-Your-Entries..html][b]this[/b][/url] page. Page loading may slow down.
