Well it depends on the context but I'm agree that one word or emoticon comment should be considered as spam.
Please do so if you think its the best for fun corner section. Before taking further steps maybe you'd like to get everyone's opinion first, by creating a yes/no poll and decide it based on the poll result so everyone is happy with the decision.

Actually I think we can close some dying threads.
I believe it's basic procedure when running/moderating forums.
The threads with [b]most spams[/b], I think we can get rid of them for now.
Sooner or later a new thread about it may come along.
We can allow to bring back some topics in some other time.
Like for example the [b]Rate My [i]this[/i] and [i]that[/i][/b] threads.
It'll be suitable when most members have renewed their avatars, siggys, or profiles.
