I've always used YAHOO. Gmail is a great alternative too.

For joyriding I use yahoo emails like in friendster/forums/ etc... But for private/family consversation I prefer gmail... great spam protection.

Filipinos use Yahoo! Mail more than any other, i can see that now. hehe. Actually i prefer Yahoo! for instant messaging, but that's pretty much it. GMail has the best spam protection and the most memory an account can hold.

I just learned that Yahoo is planning to convert the 1GB yahoo mail account holders to get unlimited storage. I'd rather wait and see though, the asterisk (*) to describe better what "unlimited storage" really means. Backdating around 2003 (I think) Yahoo mail and Microsoft were offering "measly" 2MB emails and starving the email community with the needed email space. Pushing some users to end up "paying" for email service.. Then there was "google", stormed the gates (not Bill's) offering a whopping 1GB of email storage ( now like 3GB) .. If not for google, all of us must be paying for email service right now , or perhaps , just sticking to plain old snail mail. If asked to pick by "principle" , I'm going for gmail , they did the right thing by bringing a win-win solution to email services . I still keep my "old" yahoo email addresses.. MSN expired my older accounts .. I'm not coming back .. sorry

MSN for me is a bad choice for e-mail service because of: -poor layout -poor spam protection -does not send mail ("there was an error blah blah blah") -others

i like yahoo mail cause its user friendly hehee...
