Actually, there are only two: the well known defender of the crystal, who is casting magic of some sort, and a previously revealed mystery girl, also casting magic of her own. Check them out below to see if you can spot the difference yourself. Personally, I couldn't.

Pretty though, aren't they? Packaged alongside these bad boys are a few others, included here for your enjoyment. These screens add slivers more of background to the game and its potential story elements--a council of some sort gathers, led by a rather malevolent looking man. Our hero of the crystal is not as introverted as the very first trailer makes him appear, since he has friends or comrades.

I''m gonna wait for the international version of this. 
at least a PS2 version if not I'll be force to buy 3 just for gaming, hopefully more CD will be released in PS3.

No ps2 for you this time it'll be released on ps3. Ps2 is old news..

gonna buy PS3 anyway if I want to play God of War 3 and this. 
anyway is there any info on who are the two characters? I only know lightning.

Lightning is in FFXIII, the pics above are from the separate game >> [b]FF versus XIII[/b].
The characters name will somehow connect to the weather *it's tradition for Nomura just like Cloud and Squall. There's still no name released for now maybe something like Rain, Typhoon etc.
[i]edit:[/i] I'm rooting for end of god of war trilogy too but somehow there hasn't been any news lately except for the movie adaptation. Can't wait who will Kratos behead next and battling those gods will be great!

OT: yeah they are making a movie out of GoW and DoTa and I wanna play GoW3 because I must never miss a GoW game kratos+titans vs God of Olympus.
