It's rather old, but I it's just now that I saw the actual video.
Was browsing earlier and here it is..
Maybe some of you have seen this.. it's called the '[b]Mentos Eruption[/b]'.
Rumor has it that if you [u]drink Diet Coke & eat Mentos, you could die[/u].
But there is no '[i]actual[/i]' news accounts about people dying from it.
Just do not try and experiment it '[i]on yourself[/i]' or '[i]on others.[/i]' 
[u]This can be a [b]health hazard[/b][/u].. and can give you problems, especially if you're acidic.

it's pretty amazing that mentos has its content which can make the diet coke explode like that! i tried it before but unfortunately, some diet coke went inside my nose during the experiment! [img]http://bluesmilies.eu/heureux/104.gif[/img]

Because of this famous video, it was even aired on David Letterman show,
can't remember the link there in youtube. lolz
Even he himself tried to mix diet coke + mentos. Haha,

Here's a fact.
Happened 3 years ago in 1st year.
I ate Mentos 2pcs and drank a coca cola.
What happened...
I sorta foamed a bit and stomach ache kinda occurred 
How to counter act.
Drink orange juice to counter act stomach aches. citric acid helps
Science stuff:
For some reason carbon is expended due to mentos candies
