try charging it and do it again.
I have experience it before but when i charge it, it works again.
I'm not sure if it works on ur case.

thats my fathers phone b4.. try taking it to any nokia shops there..

Try holding the usb cable..sometimes..some usb cables takes hard time to be read..due to some defects of the usb itself..
or..buy a new usb cable..
or..buy a new usb cable..

i also experience that problem now..
my phone is also n70..
at first..two months of my phone..
my usb cable is working..
but after its 3rd month..
it's not working anymore..

I think you need to re-install your Nokia PC Suite if that's what you mean.
Coz mine doesn't connect to my pc before then I re-installed it.
Try the PC suite from Nokia's official website.
