I know this has been suggested before, and that there were some issues of implementing some plug-ins for it, but I came across this topic today: Smart Image Resizer
It's a php script that boasts that it is ridiculously easy-to-use. Perhaps you could script this into the pages to find pics that are wider than the post areas and automatically resize the images
Features:
* Resizes JPEGs, GIFs, and PNGs
* Intelligently sharpens for crisp photos at any size
* Can crop based on width:height ratios
* Can color-fill transparent GIFs and PNGs
* Built-in caching keeps image variations for optimal performance
If it's a dead idea, I understand
I just wanted to share this here in case it were useful
i like it.. i hope it works with this forum.
it's a good suggestion...
is it also not possible using like flash tag?
since using flash tag, the flash file (swf) can be resized even getting from other link/url

You mean like forcing it from the html tag to be displayed in a certain size? Sure its possible. The problem was how the sistem know whether the image is need to be resized or not.
