Ahhh, there's quite a few words/phrases that I know. Too many to name, but I don't even really know conversational Tagalog, though. But I wish to learn.
==>Actually, I have been thinking (for the past year or so) about permanently moving to The Philippines, so knowing how to speak it would be handy if I do that, or even for when I visit there (hopefully next year).

Way off topic....just thinking out loud....
I really hate idiots. I'm sitting here watching George Bush's speech at the Republican National Convention. As I'm watching this speech, I am reminded of an article I read in the newspaper a couple of days ago
The GOP (Republican Party) is telling us that Barack Obama isn't "ready" to be president. This, from a party that nominated the most inexperienced, unprepared decider in our history. Someone who based foreign-policy decisions on his "gut", who proudly stated that he doesn't read newspapers, who can barely put a coherent sentence together and was easily manipulated by much-smarter people.
I don't think we are in danger of Obama starting a war with the wrong country, or playing guitar and eating cake when a major city is drowning. No, I think the only danger would be if we allow the usual fear tactics to torpedo a true statesman to bring the needed change for four more years of the same.
