Stardock LogonStudio is a freeware that allows Windows XP users to apply new logon screens and also comes built with a visual editor to make it easy to create your own logon screens.

Nope. I'm still using this right now and I'm not encountering any problems or errors. It will just change your visual settings.

some tips foe here
browse at deviant art.. click categories
Customization > Skins & Themes > Windows Utilities > LogonXP
NOTE:if u download .rar file.. extract it to c\Program Files\WinCustomize\LogonStudio
put it on folder. name it as you want
but if the file was already .logonxp extension no need to put it on its folder.. all you have to do is rightclick the file.. on open tab click logon studio. and poof.
