He could never care less. He has already been numb for the fact that she's completely gone from him. She was his life.... the very reason he lived. Without her...life meant nothing. Hours have passed.....twilight came....then dawn....life was completely pointless.... "Joshua!! Doko ni ikemasu ka??(where are you going?)" his mother asked as he came down the stairs all dressed up. "Outside?" he answered. "exactly where outside?" she asked. "Anywhere!" he said as he went out the door. He walked away without even daring to take his eyes off the ground. "Josh!!" Bryan kept calling. Josh was listening to his Ipod....not even hearing a sound. Bryan ran after him and pulled the earphones off his ears... "Hey! What gives!?" Josh said. " Sorry cuz! I had to do it!" Bryan said. "Don't ever do that again!" Josh snapped. "Oh come on Josh! What's up?" Bryan said. "Nothing you wanted to know!" Josh said. "Josh! We're like brothers remember? I mena you helped me when i fell off my bike when we were six." Bryan said. "That was 9 years ago Bry. Things change!" Josh said. "Not when I was in the hospital. You took care of me while I was in comma." Bryan said. "Who told you?" Josh asked. "Duh!? Dude! Mom knows everything! Remember the time when I was 5 and I hid a pack of chocolates under my pillow coz she didn't want me to eat chocolates before bed?" Bryan said. "Do you have to remind me of those weeks without sweets?" Josh said. They laughed. "So what do you say bro? Truce?" Bryan asked. "Who said we were in war?" Josh said. "Was that a retorical question?" Bryan asked. "No it wasn't" Josh said sarcastically. "OK that's just plain sarcasm." Bryan said. "Do you have to say it out loud?" Josh asked. "Hey! I just like tormenting you bro!" Bryan said.
