first create ur desired text:
[img]http://img505.imageshack.us/img505/9323/tut1pq8.png[/img]
then make a new gradient layer, make sure the new layer is on top of your text.
[img]http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/664/tut2qa9.png[/img]
so by now you should have something like this..
[img]http://img74.imageshack.us/img74/7308/tut3co9.png[/img]
then place you mouse between your text and gradient layer while holding the alt button..
then press the left click of ur mouse!
end..
OUTCOME:
