i'll teach you on how to make your picture as a text [b]USING GIMP[/b].. 
now to start,
open a file..*open a picture or a graphic

then.. a window will appea, with your picture..
in this window..
go to dialogs -> layers

then a dialogue box will appear..
click new layer..

remember to choose transparency..
aftr that.. go to gimp window and click the text tool..

and add your text..

there you go, now you have your text layer..
the text layer there is the one with check at the layer box..
now, right click on the text layer and click alpha to selection..

there you go, now, you can see running ants all over yer text..
now, make your text layer invisible by clicking the eye image on yer layer text..

then, click the backround layer..

now, go to the picture window..
click select -> invert

then, go to layer ox again and right click on the background layer..
click add alpha to channel..

there you go..
then, delete the text layer by clicking the trashcan image on the layer box..

then, frala!!!..
you have your picture as a text..
you can now use it in your siggy, graphic, etc..
you can blend it with other effects..
like bevel and emboss..etc..

i made it in gimp so that it can be done in an easier way..

u can also do it in photoshop in easy way...
just type the text the put image then use clipping mask...ad\nd tadang...ur done
