I think the movie will release on 2009...

i heard that they just started filming it this june.., so probably it will be out late next year.., i guess

There has been much criticism about the movie being confusing and nothing but crude humor but there is more than that in this film. As a sequel the writers have developed plot lines for the human characters that give them an opportunity to grow as opposed to simply running away from evil Decepticons. Shia's character is asked by his colleague to help win a war and instead runs away from duty. When more people wanted action they got that as well as more character development than a typical sci-fi blockbuster.
