[b]SYNOPSIS:[/b]

It's a story about the love in face of tradition, politics, and intrigue. Korea is a constitutional monarchy and the Royal Family lives in a grand Palace, the Goong. Story opens with a startling diagnosis that the King is terminally ill. Faced with the decreasing popularity among the public for the Royalty, a grand wedding for the [b]Crown Prince, Lee Shin[/b], is decided to be the best publicity move to improve the image of Royalty and at the same time prepare Shin for immediate succession. The intended bride? The headstrong, awkward, and sweet spirited [b]Shin Chae-gyung[/b] that just happens to go to the same exclusive art school. Chae-gyung was betrothed to become the next Crown Princess by her grandfather and Shin's grandfather.
As in life, humor maskes the pain in this beautifully shot drama.

The title sounds silly actually, even "[b]Princess Hours[/b]" sounds pretty off.

Goong 2 will be about a prince who does not know he possesses royal blood who is working as a delivery boy in a Chinese restaurant. The story is about him entering the palace and what happens after that.
Hwang Inroe indicated that �Goong II� will continue with the theme of a fictional South Korean monarchy, showing how tradition and the present can co-exist together. The plot will also be tied to the first series. The ending of �Goong� revealed that ultimately Lee Shin and Lee Yul didn�t inherit the throne, leading to the temporarily ascension of Shin�s sister Hyaemyong. The sequel will thus continue with this plot as the palace discovers the existence of a royal grandson living among commoners. In turns out that he have absolutely no clue about his identity. After he graduated from high school, he works as a delivery boy. He didn�t know until the palace invited him to come and he suddenly became a member of the imperial family in one night. If you watch [b]Goong Special 1.5[/b] both leads said they would be back on the 2nd season.
But that changed cos they were busy with other projects.
They seem to have gained soo much popularity after the series.
