in our school. St. Augustine Academy of Pampanga. 1st year - prophets - Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel etc.
2nd year - letters of paul to - Colossians, Corinthians, Romans, etc.
3rd year - saints/apostles - [b]St. Andrew[/b] (section where i belong [it's the 1st one]), St. Bartholomew, St. James, etc.

my school is a dominican school.
so we apply the name of dominican saints to the sections.

My school is a Catholic Institution so we apply the name of saints in our sections.

While in Highschool are saints.

Grade 4----->>RED--YELLOW
Grade 5----->>RED--YELLOW
Grade 6----->>RED--YELLOW

..during elementary.. i studied in a Catholic School even though im a Fundamental Baptist..
here's our Sections,
Grade 1:
St. Placid( my section) and St. Maur
Grade 2:
St. Lucy
Grade 3:
St. Ma. Goretti
Grade 4:
St. Bernadette
Grade 5:
St. Dominic
Grade 6
St. Benedict
then i transfered t0 anoder school during High school..
From the Science Curriculum, Sections are named after Scientists
1st year:
Newton and Kepler(My section)
2nd year: (present)
Mendel(My section) and Darwin
thats it guys..

In my first school
[b]Guardian Angel School Inc.[/b] I was there during Prep till I graduated elementary.
Primary - Fruits
Elementary - 1-3 - Flowers
4-6 - Virtues
High School - Trees

Our Lord's Angel School[/b] I was only there during 1st HS
Sections are all saints. My section was [b]St. Januarius[/b]
[b]Tendring Technology College[/b] Currently learning there .gif)
Sections/Tutor groups are based on the Advisers' name Eg. JSa, [b]"J"[/b] would be the first letter of the Adviser's first name. [b]"Sa"[/b] would be the two first letters of the adviser's last name.

grade school's sectioning is mixed..
at my time,it was y colors (green,gold and white)
now is by saints
[b]HIGH SCHOOL[/b]
high school's sectioning is based on grade and is mixed..
they will choose students who got the highest average scores and put them in 2 star sections
(one for boys-st.joseph and one for girls-st.augustine)
and the rest are mixed..

[ freshmen ] - names of scientist
[ sophomores ] - porifera , arthropoda , mollusca (something like that)
[ [b]juniors[/b] ] - gold , [b]SILVER[/b] , platinum , copper
[ seniors ] - diamond , ruby , emerald ..
