Try red alert 2. 
It's kinda old and easy to beat but... if you know how to create your own mod and AI.ini. It may take you 3 hours to defeat your own work.

please provide additional info about your laptop, especially...
-processor / processor speed
-megabytes of RAM
-[b]your video card[/b] (megabytes of VRAM, is it capable of rendering 3D graphics?)
