ahhh ok....try to uninstall the old yahoo messenger that you have...
and install the new yahoo messenger that you want... 
and install the new yahoo messenger that you want...

Are you downloading directly from Yahoo? Make sure you choose the correct version for pc, like if u have visita you need to click that link.

ya..i download directly from yahoo...im using windows xp prof edition..but i try this
http://messenger.yahoo.com/download but it doesnt work..

make sure ur connection is OK
i think u should use the old one~
this new version have too many problem.....
and try scan ur PC...maybe virus~

try Repair the old version...and then install the new version...maybe corrupted file~

use old version of ym
because ym9 has many bugs and glitches

the older vrsn is better .
uhmm . u pc should be window xp so u cant download it
&& try to look mybe ur disk mmory is full .
