One of the unique and different from the other shows this season. Not just because it's a shoujo material , but the storyline seems simple and somewhat relevant to my interest. It also has a vintage style - Fairies, Renaissance Age, Ornaments, and the ambiance that reminds me of some classic Disney shows, eye-pleasing and neat. For the characters, Edgar is so fabulous and cool guy. He talks like your typical prince charming and all, but he had a tragic past. A damaged-goods individual lost his everything way back on his childhood. And so, he must find the Sword of Merrow, to attain the things which he had been lost. But he needed a Fairy Doctor for that because the place which the sword was kept can be only be unlocked or seen by the Fairy Doctor, and he found the one , Lydia , a beautiful cultured and refined girl that can talk and see some fairies. She has a cat named Nico. Her VA is Mizuki Nana, a well-known singer and a voice actor that her voice was really great and impressive. Also, the encounter of the two main characters have met at the port, and their interaction and introduction prior to the plot begins.
Well, this my obligatory show. Good stuff nonetheless. It's rare to see that Artland produced this kind of stuff, though here's hoping that it'd be better and better. 8/10 Have fun watching!
Ep 2
Now, they began to hunt the sword but there are people who knows the identity of Edgar, and perhaps they're looking for the sword as well. Raven to the rescue , Spinzaku, is that you? Yeah, he's awesome butler. Edgar told his secret to Lydia, and their interaction has taking its flight. Their enemies has some fairy power as well, though it's so vague for now that I don't know their motive. Some scenes are cliche and cheesy as hell. The visuals of the ED song was so freaking eye-burner to me, that's all.
