nope.. long distance relationship would work if u would like it to work.. if u look it on the bright side.. it is just like a challenge to ur relationship.. on how strong ur relationship is and there three important things if ur in a long distance relationship.. one is trust.. this would be self explanatory.. second would be communication (text,call,chat,emails, etc..) and most of all.. loyalty to ur partner..

since for you guys LDR is a big no-no.. for me its a big yes-yes.. 
well.. my mom she has a BF.. an LDR.. and they are soo great.. i mean talk about 4 years.. 
their relationship is so strong.. you'll just need trust.. that's all.. if you really trust your partner..it'll workout.. 
and if your partner really loves you.. it'll workout.. trust me.. because i know how it feels to be in an LDR..

i'm currently in a LDR.
actually he was still courting me even we're apart.
maybe 3 months of being separated
after that i gave him the yes.
my parents are both OFW's
so they also experienced LDR
i guess it runs in the family

its the matter of how you feel to each other.
faith,trust & honestly will be always needed
even though you're not far to each other.
