For Nokia Phone User! specially to Symbian OS.
this problem may happen to you!
Important reminder:
If you have anything stored on the phone memory that you woudn't want to delete, such as Contacts, Messages, Pictures, Videos or whatever, back it up to your memory card or computer using PC SUITE. The format process deletes all stored memory on the phone, but not the memory card.
To format
1. turn phone off.
2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
3. do not let go until it asks you about your location or whatever
My n73 had all kinds of problems like being really slow or unable to open some programs, screen freezes, and stuff like that. This usually means that the phone memory is full of junk that can't be removed and/or viruses. To completely rid yourself of that problem, try hard formatting the n73.
My phone will gain 44mb back and go back to normal. Phone will respond a lot faster too, as if it were new. Viruses would be deleted as well as other junk stuffed inside.
Good Luck mate!
