this statements was once mentioned by MARKY'S MOTHER (Mildred Cadaweng CIELO) in a noon time show (SIS), but the above said interview was edited and deleted by the command of the GMA7 bosses to give privacy and respect to marky's family.
Mildred, explained what really happened to her son.
(December 7,2008)
at around 2:30 in the morning, Marky was home. he had a chance to tell his problem to his mother. Marky said to his mom that he had a gay lover that starts even before his starstruck days, this gay promised him good future career in show business and believed that the gay lover had a big role for marky's victorious win in starstruck, because of the text votes he received. the gay lover was also the one who search and give projects to him, but marky couldn't take their relationship to a new level that's why he decided to end everything, he tried to talk with his gay lover but the gay lover refused and warn him that if marky end their relationship, the gay lover would be happy to show their video scandal to media persons and tell the whole nation about them. Marky was left with no choice.
her mother advised him: ("malaki ka na, gawin mo kung ano ang dpat mong gawin. ginawa mo yan panindigan mo." )
then after those words she left his son alone in his room, at aroud 10:00 in the morning Mildred went to marky's room to wake her son up. unconciously, Milderd saw his son hanging on the wall, neck tied up, the whole body is turning black. marky commited a suicide! She rushed her son at the hospital but no more life to bo found.
this is why marky is wearing a turtle neck clothes on his wake so that people won't be able to see the marks that he had on his neck.
let's just pray for his soul and may he rest in peace.

my tito went to the wake of marky
and marky was wearing a white polo shirt
not a turtle neck thingy.
the medical authorities already issued a medical certificate
which tells the media that marky die because of hypermia pancreatis,
or something like that, i forgot the name 
for short "bangugot"
if this is true
i would really say that marky cielo is stupid
for commiting suicide just for a gay lover?
if i was him, i would also spread the news that my gay lover have aids

Marky didn't died at 2:30, but 12:30AM. And, many people liek and adore Marky a lot.
So why gay lover? And one more thing.. His manager must be teh one who's trying to find a show for Marky, not that stupid gay lover (rumour).

i dunno the real reason or thingy. i just got this to the bulletin of my friend who's dad is a big name in there.
it wasn't confirmed but the SiS staffs were talking all about it.
