Try downloading a good virus scan like bitdenfender.
http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/desktop/total_security/final/en/bitdefender_totalsecurity_2009_32b.exe
Install it and run scan your PC.
I tried it in the computer shop of my client and it removed all the viruses on her PC after scanning is complete.
