even he buy from O2 it still lock to O2. He need to buy a sim-solution for that phone to work on other carrier. Otherwise activate it , jailbreak it and unlock it. Its now easy to unlock using yellowsn0w. If you need some more info. i can provide you a link or procedure on how to unlock it.
