here is a poem i would like to share..
i titled it Yi Ban (Mandarin) or in english, Other Half.
the title is based on Jerry Yan's song "Yi Ban" for the Hot Shot OST. Just the title, mind.
this was intended to be a song, but as i wrote it, i couldnt hear music. maybe someday i can develop it into a song but i thought it is best left spoken (read lol)
comments & constructive criticism would be appreciated and glomped ^_^

Yi Ban (Other Half)
There are thousands of languages
billions of words.
Every one can be said,
translated or sung
one way or another.
So many letters
that work together
to say just one
particular emotion.
An emotion so strong
in which the law of gravity
does not apply.
So many people we meet
so many we may forget.
Each one leaving
a mark on us.
Taking a piece
of our heart, our body,
our soul.
But there's always that
one special someone
Your other half.
Your soul mate.
Somehow the rest of the world
became lifeless and dull,
diamonds lost their lustre,
the Moon lost her romance.
Gravity does not quite
hold you to this Earth,
the other half of you does.
So many ways to say it
so many ways to express it.
How you feel for that certain person.
This, is my tribute
to you, my love.
Know that this comes from
my heart.
Not the brain that connected
the words,
nor the hand that penned them.
Mahal kita.
Wo ai ni.
Je T'aime.
Ti amo.
Tangsinul sarang ha yo.
Kimi o ai shiteru.
Te lu besc.
Kaluguran daka.
Aishite imasu.
Nahigugma ako kanimo.
I love you.

**note; if anybody would like to contribute another way in a different language in which to say "I love you"
please share and i will add it here ^.^
