well i use norton now but i also use [url=http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html]avast! antivirus[/url]. its free. and its pretty good. ive been using it for like 3 years now [except for now because i got a new laptop and thought might as well use my Norton trial version; but the computer that my parents use has avast!] you just register and you keep the PIN given so you can renew your program every 14 months or so [still free, so long as you use the home edition one... not the professional one]

Once you remove it go to ur My Computer, Applications folder and delete any folder name AVG. Then delete it from ur recycle bin. Turn off ur computer, restart then go to [url]www.downloads.com[/url] and down the latest AVG.
