I scanned my flash drive in bitdefender 2008 and instead of placing the infected files in the quarantine, the antivirus software just deleted the infected files without prompting me.
I am asking if anyone knows how to recover the files that has been DELETED from the said antivirus.

If you haven't formatted your flash drive yet go to http://recuva.com and install it on your PC. On the wizard while using Recuva, choose the Media Card, option.
It will recover the files on recyclers in your USB/Flash Drive.
If you already formatted your USB, there is no hope. 
Also, all premium virus scans delete/quarantines viruses automatically if detected. Not only bitdefender.
