if rippers wanna rip da codes., then they'll just register anyway and rip those layouts/tutorials~~etc.

Agree ..there reallly is no answer to those that rip others layouts or codes 
All you can do is report their site to their host site for ripping ur layouts or codes

codes that are shared here can't be considered as being ripped. and as per my opinion, most of them shared the codes for those who want to use them, not only FTalkers.

admin left some sections could be viewed by guests to make them know what is this site about. one of the way to attract them and then they could register themselves. by hiding the whole forum from guests, it will lessen the number of new registered members.

Why do we have to be selfish about the 'codes'? What I mean is those codes are published publicly on the internet. The layouts where your own design, effort and skills you put on making the layouts are the ones that can be keep without sharing to others.
But you are using those codes and layouts for your personal use only. You don't make profits whatsoever. Unless otherwise you have the proper or authorized copyrights.
In addition, there is no way to hide your codes. Even if you encrypt it several times, once the layout has been display over the browser (which the browser must read the codes), then it can be decrypted.
And also, if your own layout has been ripped by other people, you should be flattered and be thankful. You've done a good job on your layout's design. You made other people jealous of your layout.
